I have trouble posting pictures every time I make a new thread. I can only copy pics from Photobucket and it take forever. I can't figure out how to post them from a file on my computer it always shows an error. I can post them on E-mails so I figure I should be able to post them on the site. Any help would be appreciated. I really like the way Johnny post his fishing trips with the big pics any suggestions.

I always use photobucket because it keeps from loading up the crappie.com server with pics, but I think you have to click on Go Advanced, then click on manage attatchments, then browse your pc to find the pic you want to upload.
You can't fish with a hung line!
Crappiecatcher06, your file may be too big. When I first started trying to post pics I got the error message also. Then noticed that crappie.com only allows you to upload a picture with a file size of around 140kb. My ten megapixel camera normally takes a picture with a file size of around 2.4MB, way too large. However, I used the software that came with my camera to change the size of the file for the picture down to around 140kb and was able to upload and post pictures. Resizing does not change the actual size of the picture, just the size of the file. I hope this helps.

Mike, I don't know if you're doing it this way already but one way to speed it up is to use the bulk uploader. In the box at the top of photobucket screen where it says "UPLOAD IMAGES AND VIDEOS" there is a line at the bottom of that box which says, "..use our bulk uploader: upload multiple files fast..", click on it the blue words bulk uploader. It will take a few seconds to connect you to the uploader. When it's finished, choose your files. Much, much faster than just clicking the larger button at the top of the box. I hope you understood that and helps.
