Thread: Millers 3-12-10

Well we managed to catch a few but the wind was a killer, trolling motor battery was out by 2:30 so that finished us for the day. You would know the warranty on the battery was out 2 weeks ago just my luck. I will try tomorrow with a new battery. I hear there is a bass tournament tomorrow so the fishing will be tough again. The Lake had white caps when we left very very rough.

The lake appears to be a pretty piece of water. Is it a deep lake?
Nice mess of fish. I hope to get a bite soon. I guess for me to get that I got to go fishing.
Kind of like wanting to win the lottery and not buying a ticket.

The Lake is very shallow it might be 8 feet at its deepest point.

great catch..how big was that one you are holding...man you right about the wind being killer..it was just down right hard to fish..my battery barely made it through the day...had to keep it on high just to go against the wind

I don't know anything about Miller's lake, but that is a good mess of fish anywhere. Congratulations. The wind was bad in north LA today too.

Bob that fish was about 1-1/2lbs most of the fish we caught were about 1 lb. but those are small I've seen a lot bigger caught in there, I just can't find them this year. Johnny I've heard of some good catches but those guys don't report on the site, they don't want the word to get out they are catching because fishing pressure can shut those fish down on a small shallow lake like Millers. I wish I had the time to take off work when the conditions are best like Monday, I talked to a few people who caught pretty good, it was warm and cloudy perfect for that Lake.

Is there a outboard size limit that you can use in Millers Lake.
