Smile My limit on Black Bayou, Hosston

Well, me and John hit the lake about 7:30 this morning and by 10:00 I had my limit of five. LOL.:D But they were very good fish. Biggest one weighed 1lb 4 oz, smallest one weighed 1lb even. All males and very black. Beautiful fish. With all of the rain we have had the last couple of day, the wind that was howling this morning, and the temp change I was proud to catch five. We also had a good samaritan give us one at the ramp when we left the lake. Thank you, whoever you are. Caught them on the world famous electric red/chartreuse around the trees in 6 FOW. If there was a fish at the tree he would hit the jig about 2 feet deep and I mean HIT IT.They slammed it like they were mad at my jig. Water temp 58.5.

See yall at Larto next Friday. John and I are planning to get there Thursday and fish that afternoon. If anyone else is there come over and visit. We will be in a Four Winds travel trailer. We are planning to fry fish for supper Thursday night if anyone wants to join us. You can call me at 318-355-5743 and let me know.

Go ahead on Pastor. Man you did way better than me with a pole. I could not get them suckers to bite a pole in the daylight for nothing last weekend. All they wanted was that shiner hanging in thier territory after the sun went down. Great catch man. I will holler at ya after next weekend and hopefully we can make a trip together.

Congrats on the catch and thanks for the pic. They sure are dark looking.
You can't fish with a hung line!
