I talked to one guy who claimed to catch 72 on Saturday...said he was having to go against the wind to catch them rather than drifting with it.

Welcome Scott and you too joshg. It's good to see all the new member joining lately. Hang around and read alot and you'll be up to speed. That the purpose of the forum. Josh Cypress is located north of Bossier City a little ways. It's a great fishing hole.

I fished Saturday evening from 1pm to 5pm and caught 11 nice crappie close to the park beach. Largest measured 14 " and the fish bit for only a 45min period using shiner's and jigs. Surprised to find eggs in a few of them when cleaning.Tried towards the dam, but with no luck.

I caught nine (10"-12") this afternoon from 2-5:30 at the dam trolling/drifting with electric chicken and black/chart jigs.

Sounds like clay and silver deck caught supper. There is nothing wrong with that.
