went fishing with freebird, lynden, this morning. it started out very cold, really cold. shiner bucket kept icing over. my dip net was hard as a rock. anyway--ended up bringing home 21. they were hard to come by.
lynden, it was a treat to fish with you this morning. i really enjoyed the fishing, but the conversation was even better. let's do it again really soon.
doc
oh yeah, after fishign for about 45 minutes, lynden thought he was hung up and reeled in a fishing rod. he hung the line. kinda funny if youi ask me. but hey--he got a new rod out of the deal. not bad!!!!!
Any man can be a father, but it takes a real man to be a DAD!!
Congrats on the catch to both of you. I didn't go today because of the wind, but I know it was chilly outside.
You can't fish with a hung line!
Congrats on the catch doc. Do you have a picture of the rod? LOL. I am putting together some crappie condos out of bamboo to drop in Cypress real soon. I'll let you know where. I'm going to post some pics.
The Lord is good. His mercy and love endures forever.
Had a great time, Doc! Thanks for showing me the rig method. I will have to say the crappie were a little sluggish in the cold -- I think the spinning rod fought a little harder! (But the crappie filleted up better!) I enjoyed the time and company as well. Looking forward to next time!
Thanks Again!
The USAF-free moves to a new fishing hole every 2-3 years!
Freebird, I sat in Doc's back seat on my first ever trip to the northern part of the state. It was a blast and one to remember, not by the size or numbers we caught but by the friendship showed me by Doc.
