    Heard that the lake is open again, is that right? How is the water, still muddy? Anyone with any reports? Need to get up there and catch a few. Jim

    Heard on the news last night the lake is falling about 6'' a day, should be right about the time I have to go back to work!

    Jim,I talked to a couple of my cousins that fished Darbonne today with no luck,I think I'll head over to poverty point tomorrow and give it a try.Good Luck !!

    went this afternoon for about three hours not a bite.only a couple of boats on the water the way they was moving around i could see they was not doing any good either.

    yes the water not as muddy down there as at the hy 33 bridge

    went friday morning. started at hwy 2 bridge/still lots of current there. fished 2 hours,noy a bite. loaded up went to spillway(out in front of) marking lots of fish. fished 2 more hours-not a bite. water was as muddy as i've seen it this season.
