    Default Larto Catch

Didn't do very well Wednesday and Thursday, sure am glad I didn't have to feed but my wife and I. As you can see the water is still high but falling pretty fast. We were fishing the main lake off the point of the island, no jig colors seemed to work better than others, and shiners did work best fishing about 18 to 20' deep in 23 - 24 FOW. I heard reports of folks catching limits but never saw these limits with my own eyes. There is a walkway beside that cypress tree to that floating dock out there, someplace

Jeremy, let me know if you do any good. I here you can actually drive to the camp now, but Red's landing is still underwater. Water is at the porch of the office now from what I hear.

Couillon I will be back in Dec 8th, please let me know how it's going. I can follow the water from that web site you sent me and thanks for that one too. I need a guide or just someone to follow for the Saline side of the compound. You interested in lending an "Old Boy" a hand?

My initial thoughts were to put in at Cross bayou but looks like it's still high from what Large 1 says. I have been from Woodson's Landing when the water was high like this so that somewhat lessens the chance of hitting a stump. That's probably the route im gonna take. I have the route save on my GPS so i'll end up following it. I've only been across the lake twice so. Once i get to horse island, i know where/how to travel the bayous. I'll post what i come across when i go next week.

    Default Reds

I drove to Reds landing at cross bayou today. The water is all in the parking lot, but people are launching boats anyway. The water is right at the porch of the office. Water line looks like it was 2' inside the bait shop at the highest.

Cuiollon, put in at reds and just stay in the middle of the channel.
I stay ready....... To keep from having to get ready.... :D

I may do that. I guess i would have to bring some rubber boots to walk around. I know my way around on that end of the complex. It's running big creek and the lake. I just didn't know about Red's and with the water that high being in the shop and those boat wakes. I'll check it out for sure.

How fast or slow is the water falling at Red's? Any guess as to when it will be down where you can use the ramp...not just unload in the parking lot?

Don't bother with Youngblood, we drove up to the sign in board in the boat Thursday afternoon. Well that was almost a week ago but I bet it's still muddy as all get out.
