Hope I get to drop in for a while at the get-together, but out-of- town kids and grandkids will be pouriing in starting on Friday night. Even though I know this info is a little late I wanted to let everyone know that a good pattern on "The Bone" right now is a depth of 20 to 25 feet on the edge of the channel and fishing 15-18 feet deep. I must have caught at least 65-70 fish yesterday and fished only 2 hours this morning and got 25........Now the bait I want to let everyone know about is the "STINGER SHAD".....it looks a lot like the Bobby Garland "baby shad", but has a little longer tail and the colors will know your socks off..........I got a hold of a few samples last week and used them on the two catches noted above....MAN AM I IMPRESSED !!!!According to the info I got from the distributor, The Honey Hole in West Monroe should be getting their first shipment tomorrow (Friday) after 1:00 P.M. You better beat me there before I stock up.....Hope to see ya'll at the park if things work out..............GOOD FISHIN'

Hey Bob, I didn't get to see the pictures... just something about a photobucket account. What color(s) were the baits?
Yeah, many that I cleaned yesterday had shad in them.
Mr. Bob, if you happen to head down to Darbonne and would happen to stop by the honey hole on the way, I would like to get some. I may try and swing by that way on the way up there tomorrow if its not too far off course. If by some chance you do, can you give me a call at 337-368-9051? Thanks.
You can't fish with a hung line!
Bob,David showed those baits to me last week, can't wait to try them out.
I only had two of the colors. Both caught fish. Probably the one that they hit best yesterday looks a lot like the Garland "blue grass", but it is translucent and has silver glitter in it. I'm not sure but I think it's called "smurf limeaid" and the other was "tiger candy". I guess the tiger refers to the fact that it has a purple back and goldish hue that would remind you of LSU.

I never did post any of the jig colors. Sorry for all the photobucket "junk" that went with my post......seems that I had not used my account in such a long time that it was mad iinactive.....now I've got to figure out how to get it off.

the pictures dont work.,
I have a super duper bait of my own. Its in the testing stage now and I'm doing the testing. I need to validate its performance over coming trips before I reveal this bait to c.com. Preleminary results are very positive over the last 2 trips but more data (white perch) need to be collected to have proof positive that this bait is what it appears to be. Stay tuned....JN
here what they look like![]()
