I went up to Darbonne and put in at the State Park ramp. Day got off to a bad start. I wasn't paying attention and backed a tire off the side of the ramp. You guessed it stuck. No one else there for about and hour. Finally a nice fellow and his wife pulled me out. Then went up the channel a mile or so. Water was a little muddy and it was pretty windy. I only caught 8 and kept 7. Ran into Waxnslabs and Crappienator. Waxnslabs had 6-7 before I ever caught a fish. Crappienator only had 4. Also saw greenlantern, but didn't get to talk to him. Waxnslabs was trying to put them on some fish cause they were trying to film some crappie fishing for the Duck Commander show.
Don't know how they ended up. Got too windy for me. Talked to a guy at the ramp when I was loading up. He had 31 decent fish. He fished down toward the main lake around Tech Landing. Fishing along the channel fishing 16+ feet deep over about 20 ft. of water. Hope to make another short trip up there tomorrow and hope it is not as windy.....

There are two things to aim for in life: First, to get what you want; and after that, to enjoy it. Only the wisest of mankind achieves the second. Author unknown, but I like it!
Sounds like my luck most of the time, Rick! Christy and I will be back out there Thursday I hope. We'll be between the marina and Corney. I hope the wind isn't as bad. It blew us all over the place this morning!
Rick, good to hear you came out of the day ok... thanks for the report, sounds like the place to fish them is in the middle of the lake
You can't fish with a hung line!
