Thread: Poverty Point 11/ 08/09

Made the trip over to Poverty Point today with my wife,ended up with 44 big Crappie.Fishing was slow but steady most of the day,Quit fishing at 1:00 to clean fish and get home in time to watch the Saints,glad I did it was a good game.Just to let ya'll know a friend just called and said he caught 14 big crappie at Darbonne today,he also said the lake was starting to clear up a little bit.Fishing should be great by time of the get together.Tommy

Got pictures but not on my digital camera,Clark said he figured out how to post them so maybe next time.Vance to answer your other question Kim caught her fair share and she let everybody around know when she caught one.Going to be on vacation starting friday,so in between hunting and fishing I will try to update everybody on fishing reports on Darbonne during the week.Tommy
