Made the trip over to Poverty Point today with my wife,ended up with 44 big Crappie.Fishing was slow but steady most of the day,Quit fishing at 1:00 to clean fish and get home in time to watch the Saints,glad I did it was a good game.Just to let ya'll know a friend just called and said he caught 14 big crappie at Darbonne today,he also said the lake was starting to clear up a little bit.Fishing should be great by time of the get together.Tommy
