    Default What A Day On Cypress!! 11/07/2009

    well i went to cypress this morning and ended up fishing all day. caught 56. and i really had some good ones. my electric knife just broke, so i am waiting on my dad in law to bring me his. i bet i caught over 15 fish that were 2+ pounds.

    needless to say they are biting. all were caught on shiners in 13-20 feet of water tightlining. here is the proof.

    Nice catch Doc. Now that I know what you look like I'll start looking for you on the lake. Did you catch them in the channel across from the beach?

    Great looking catch there doc... congrats on an awesome day. I just got a new 10" jiggin pole I need to try out. Been hitting them hard in ditches in high water.

    Man, wish I could have gone, but it was almost 9 pm last night be the time I got all of my running finished. Really glad you had such a good time and caught a load. Were they all on your new jigs? If so, I'd say you've got the technique down pat!
