    Default Specks up to 18"!

Went to Big Lake Th. PM and managed to catch 11 nice specks and decided I needed some of the fresh water version too, so I went to Bundicks Friday and caught a dozen of the fresh water specks. Even managed to catch one of those racing crappies.

Caught the crappie in every water, 6 ft, 12 ft, and 20 ft. Red and Chrt was the best color with blue and white next and blk and chrt coming in 3rd.

Oh I guess yall want to see that 18" speck.

Now, how many of yall did I get with that?!! HE HE:D

Shadow, I went to Big Lake Thurs. Caught a limit of real nice flounder, I saw birds working but didn't fish them much. Caught four or five specks and a red. Did you fish North or South. I was in Turner's bay area. I can't believe you caught fish on Bundicks. I figured with all the rain, it would be really high. Geaux Tigers.

    Dwyane -
Glad you got those streamlined specks when you did. Looks like we may be having to hold onto our hats next week.
Incidentally, yesterday we got three good reds and a nice flounder in one spot, and three 2-pound channel cats, an eel, a gou, some rat reds, and around 1 1/2 pounds of small shriimp at the wier at the base of Redfish Point in V-Bay.
Chocolate milk! Had to flip spinnerbaits into the grass (ISYN!) for the reds and flounder!
Hold on tight, and watch the tide!

Dwyane, you didn't get me on it, lol, could have something to do with talking with you on the phone thursday and the voicemail you left me friday.. sorry I didn't get back with you.

Congrats on the catch both days. Question for you.. Did you try the Black/Red at Bundick's? I know we caught alot of fish on that color along with the blue/white.

Tiger, I have always done better on Bundick's when the water is high. Especially if it's almost level with the bottom of the old warf at the spillway landing. That is usually when I troll/drift the northern bank.

I was gonna make a trip this morning to give them a shot, but I just bought two new tires/rims for the trailer and haven't got them on yet, and got a pretty good leak from a few of the rivets, got some fiberglass for them. Fixing to go work on all that. Maybe next weekend I can give them a try.
You can't fish with a hung line!

Man, specks and perch. I am really jealous.
There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot. :D
