Thread: darbonne gathering eating meeting

well, we are officially less than a month away from darbonne. and i guess it is time to maybe start deciding on who will bring what to eat for the gathering. i can't remember from last year if we all ate together on friday nite, or saturday nite, or both. they say the memory is the first to go. LOL

so why don't we do this. everyone post what they want to bring and then i will compile the list in a couple of weeks and see what is still needed. then i can put the items up that we need and everyone can just claim one or two items.

ps>>we will be coming in my suburban and i cannot fit my fish cooker in it. so will someone be willing to bring their cooker?? i have plenty of grease if needed.

I will bring some "sweet" marsh shrimp to throw in the fish fry, whichever night that might be. Saturday usually works best for most people b/c it makes sure we can all throw a few fillets in the mix.

We will bring some Taco soup same as last year. Last year we ate what everyone brought on Friday nite and then Saturday nite we fried fish.

I can't wait to get some more of that taco soup. I can bring fish cooker or whatever else we might need. Just let me know.

Put me and mine down for some spectacular baked beans-- my wife ought to patent these babies!!
For prparation reasons, and this being our first trip with everyone, how many mouths are we looking to feed (( best guess)) ?? I'd rather have leftovers than someone hungry!!

We will bring something, don't really know what yet. So when we get a list going of things needed, we will see what we can do.

i see you are from BUSH, LA. do you have a dog named jed?? i'm referring to the bush's baked beans commercial. LOL
