Nice pics,was this the tourney out of Bayou Benoit landing?

it was out of benoit. fishing was tough as the backwaters hadn't yet started to fall with the river. but it's hard to time a tourney in the basin. First place took home $380 plus a Cajun Grill.

A lot of the guys were concerned about keeping the fish alive, but out of all the teams no one came back with dead fish.

Might have to check you'll out next year.How many fish do you'll weigh? Is there any fall/winter tourneys?

we did two this year.

next year we'll probably do the same but do one out of the east side and one out of the west side.

The first tourney was in June and the water was at 15' so we weighed 5. Nearly every team had 5 fish and did really well for such high water. This tourney we weighed 10 fish and the conditions seemed to be a little tougher because the river had come up some, but some of the guys got on some nice fish.
