Thread: Cypress Lake at Benton, LA

I am thinking of going to Cypress Lake in Benton on Monday. Anyone been there lately. Last time I was there was about three weeks ago. Fish were in 18 to 20 feet of water about 12 ft deep then.

Pastor went last Sunday didn't do any good. Cajon Dave was out thair might contact him to see if he had any luck.

Yes, Ontheline, they are planning to pull it down about 6 feet. They are supposed to start Sept. 7th and leave the gates open until the 10th of Jan. 2010. I am new to this area, but from what I am told there won't be but one place to put a boat in after the draw down, if you can get one in there. And to think, I just bought one of those $15.00 stickers for my boat. LOL. Just my luck. Oh well, there is always Lake Erling and Lake D'Arbonne.

old d'bone has some good winter fishin', I think allaus is lookin' for cool weather. caddo at mooringsport and uncertain usually produce some good fish in winter also.
I'm retired so gimme a hollar.
