I put up a post about Mary landrieu pushing for national healthcare to let Louisiana residents be aware of her socialist agenda, (which wether you like it or not, WILL affect your right to hunt and FISH soon enough) and it seems it was deleted?

I have to ask, whats up with that?

Not that I disagree with you, but it probably was deemed too OT or too inflammatory by the mod or admin that deleted it. Probably not really the place for it since the folks here try awful hard to keep it to fishing or friendly community related topics. }:-/

I did print out your response to her (hate to even think of her name) on Saturday.
Then yesterday I went looking for it so I could send it to a lady making up a mailing list.
Could not find your post.
Even went to your personal page and clicked on "All posts by Kman", still nothing from Friday or Saturday.
I even went to Paw Paw gene's "All posts by PawPaw gene" since he had responded to you and found nothing.
So please, please repost your response to her.

I do understand that, I really do. However, and I am not trying to get you angry here, just discuss, the post wasn't about an issue that is lame, like highway repairs, it is an issue that REQUIRES us to act and act now.

The state of chaos that this administration has placed this country is scary!

Nationalized health care IS a socialist program. No one can / will argue that. So, what's next? Let me tell you, gun control. Then what? National registrations, numbers, and government programs for the select few. Guess, what...YOU guys....US.....the ONES ON THIS BOARD....AINT THE SELECT FEW!

We pay taxes, we work, and we supply those that choose not to with all their little hearts desire....no, all they EXPECT and DEMAND!

This directly affects YOUR freedoms, YOUR rights, YOUR way of life brother! Now is not the time to be politically correct and stick our heads in the sand. If it offends someone, tough! Someone not standing up for their country and being outraged about what is going on and being unwilling to fight for it OFFENDS THE HELL OUT OF ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, under normal circumstances, with a president that doesn't denounce God every chance he gets, doesn't attack our capitalist way of life that got us to be the most powerful country in the world, doesn't try to force even HIGHER taxes down my throat, and doesn't expect me to enjoy becoming a communist nation....yeah, we'll keep it all fishing. But when the above things are happening, and they ARE...right now fellas.... people like us need to ban together and discuss these types of things so that we are spawned into action. Lest your leisure time be spent in line for a loaf of bread instead of crappie fishing.

Wake up fellas! Not only that, but shake the guy next to you. If you don't, dont be surprised when ALL opinions are not welcome here or anywhere else for that matter.

1perchjerker, the content of that thread WAS deleted, and in light of that, i dont want to put it back up because I don't want to give any reason for banning me. i would rather the admin that did it, read this latest post and understand that this is an issue that does call for OUR attention, guys like us. I hope that he doesnt delete this one. If that happens, it will certainly be my last post here. In the last 6 months I have made it a point to spend my time, devotion, and money with people / businesses that are not afraid to stand up and be heard, are not worried about offending someone that does not support the American way of life. I am so sick of riding a fence in this country till my n&^s hurt!

Waiting till your legs are removed to stand makes it even harder to get off your A$$! ( I just came up with that, you can use it if you like:D)

Kman, as a former moderator (THANK GOD!), I can tell you that moderators have to sometimes delete threads that they ABSOULETELY AGREE WITH. This is a very hard decision to make and the moderator is trying to prevent arguing on the board and keep it to fishing related topics. I admit that I do my fair share of off topic post but when you get into political matters you are opening "Pandora's Box". I for one, COMPLETELY AGREE with what you posted but think you would have been better to post it on the off topic board. I hope this helps explain why your thread was probably deleted.

I did delete the thread. Like Dwyane said in his reply, sometimes we need to delete some that we totally agree with. I have brought it back, but moved it to the off topic board. The reason that I originally deleted it was because, first of all it is political and secondly, it was a direct attack at a "named" official that represents our state. and both are reason for removal. Please don't get upset with me for doing what I am supposed to be doing. Here is the link to the thread.

Should have been removed because your opinions on a specific law or policy may not relfect the rest of society. Political debates over policy and new laws have gone on since the days of the Romans and probably before that.
For every person that shares your viewpoint I can find one that wont. Sad but true

jlaughlin72, thanks for bringing back the thread, i appreciate that and it goes a long way with me.

Please keep in mind that my "attack" was simply posting HER OWN WORDS. I really don't have a problem attacking someone that is no longer representing her constituents anyway.

Team M&M, just because someone disagrees doesn't mean it shouldnt be discussed. If that were the case, nothing would ever get solved. The fact of the matter is, that one side has to have MORE people agree with them than the other side, it's how things get solved. Your last response goes right along with the old, "aw heck, my vote dont count no way" theory. You may be able to show me one for one for a little while, but after millions of counted opinions, eventually someone wins. Its what happened with the 08 election.

2 years of propaganda and a press that worshiped the man INFLUENCED young college kids with no life experience, never had to pay taxes (cause they had no jobs), INFLUENCED those with jobs that had a lot to gain by being on the politically correct side of things, and DEMONIZED hard working Americans and capitalism. We, on the other hand, the hard working tax paying evil people, sat by on an idle horse and didn't even put up a worthy opponent. We handed it to him. Now look at what is going on. All I was trying to do was let other LIKE MINDED PEOPLE be aware that they are NOT wierd for thinking they are being screwed. They are NOT alone. They do not have to drink the koolaid, it's poison. Sometimes that is uncomfortable. Fighting for something you believe is worth keeping is often uncomfortable.
