Thread: Dog Days

Well guys,we are in the dog days.Is it Oct. yet?
My buddy and I went to Henderson Sunday afternoon for a few hours.It was low and sloow! Not one sacalait! The water is extremely low,most laydowns are high and dry.Maybe these sacs are suspending in whatever deep water they can find,and have a severe case of lockjaw.
That's cool,we're suppose to go down the Atchafalaya to our lil honey hole in the Amerada canal Sat. morning.I saw the river rose just a little.I'll let ya'll know how we do.Good luck to ya'll !

i was in there today and talked to a guy with 15 sacalait all 3/4 to 1 1/2 pound fish. With the water low like it is u have to find brush piles in deep water there are several areas of the lake that has over 9 feet of water. i was prefishing for the king of henderson tourmeant sat. it is a bass tourmeant i had 3 keepers i figured them out when it was time to leave trying again thursday i must of caught like 50 lil fish from 4 inches to 13 3/4 inches

Yeah,they must have had lock jaw Sunday afternoon,cause we fished several areas,some had water up to 15 ft.You don't know where that guy caught his fish do you?
