Thanks TIGER! That makes it 378# in a drum. I was trying to evaluate paying $50 for a drum filled with corn or $6.98 for a 50# sack. That makes it a no brainer. I would only save $2.78 on the drum route plus I have to furnish the drum and go after it.

Thanks again.

If you kick on the side of the drum while it's being filled, it will hold a little more. It make the core settle while it's being filled, and not after.

Where are you finding a 50 pound bag for 6.98? Everything around Haughton is 9-10 dollars per 50 pound bag

Also, where can you get it y the barrel?

Cones Feed Store in Minden has it for $6.98 for 50# sack. (1-318-377-6295) I saw it posted on another forum where LSU Research Station had a limited amount that they were going to sell for $50 a barrel for clean corn.
