Default ???

Hmmm - just noticed that I have advanced from guppy to slabmaster, and I have yet to catch the first sac-a-lait since I began torturing you all with my dribble some months back. Funny how that works.
Anyway, I came close last Thursday. My companion, Dr. Chip Metz of Morgan City - caught five decent ones and two fine chinks while I changed flies several times. We (He!) got 'em in the Basin at the mouths of some canals leading into Bayou Sorrell near Stephensville. Lovely water, no competition, and lots of promise.
I shoulda known better. Maybe John should re-title me as "slabless".

Hey slabless,

It's the karma thing at work. You're being paid back by the freshwater fish, for ignoring them for all those decades, when you only targeted the salt water species. They can still smell the salt still embedded in all your fly lines.
