Default no luck on saturday

well, me and my dad-in-law went to 12 mile bayou on saturday morning and had VERY LITTLE success. only cuaght three. and they were kinda small. tried some great looking spots, just didn't have any takers. think the influx of fresh water hurt the results a little. saw dave and earl and i think they had a few more than we did.

Default no luck either

Doc, sorry to here you didn't kill 'em, but I didn't catch many either. Too much fresh water or a full moon or who knows. Better luck next time.

Hey Doc,

I was out there Saturday fishing just north of Cajun Dave and Earl when I think I saw you heading back down the bayou. I was alone in a white/blue Javelin. Y'all caught 3 more than me. CD and Earl were kind enough to invite me to fish along with them. They gave me some pointers and tried to help me. CD and Earl get right in the MIDDLE of the stickups. I took note of that. I saw Earl catch one right by a stickup I had just fished. That was an ego boost. Don't know how they ended up but it was a nice day to be on the water. Keep hoping one day I will hit em at the right time on TMB.

Doc, You ought to know that if Cajun Dave gets on the bayou ahead of you, its going to be a tough day. If I see his trailer at the ramp, I know not to turn into the bayou. He's the grand master of TMB. And if Earl is with him, forget about it.

actually, we beat the cajun to the bayou by about an hour. but i just think that it was a bad day to crappie fish. we found some of the best looking spots i have ever seen, but no crappie willing to invest in a bite. haven't heard from dave and earl since we elft the bayou, b ut i bet they ended up with about 8 or so.
