We went to deer park a little over a week ago and had a time finding minnows. Had to go all the way to Ferriday to find some. Does anyone know of any bait shops that open early in Natchez or the Vidallia area. Pappa T's quit selling minnows and DW's one stop is closed down. Thanks for any info.

Hey CrappieRx. There is a store just north of Washington one or two miles on Hwy 61N that used to sell bait. Just past them when you turn to go to Natchez State Park, Mama's Old Store also had bait. I haven't been to either in about five years. Your best bet, coming from your direction, would be in Meadville. Due to the new lake there, several stores now carry bait. Good luck.---Pooch
