Has anyone heard anything about Bisteneau lately? I passed over Dorcheat a few days ago and noticed it was very,very lowwww. Im going early Sunday morning. Planning on going to the port.

wind was outta no/nowest pretty gusty at times, talked to the owner at the port o bist, said tue was a good day, lotta nice bass and perch came in, some perch around 1 1/2 lbs. it was about 10 when I launched and he said lotta folks already went home-a real bad day for fishin, no-one ketchin anything. run into a fella that said he was gettin a limit of bass everyday, but not this day. nother fella had 3 perch, one bout 12" and 2 dinks.
I tried everything but a nice bluegill was the only thing I could ketch. I had nuff that excitement by 2 and left. used jigs n' shinners
the owner said he had dumped a buncha bags of sackrete at the deep end of the ramp so it would be safe and would dump more if needed. he said the lake was bout 6 1/2 feet down. water look good (stained a bit) but the sylvania was blowin round all over.

We sprayed out of POB yesterday, most of the salvinia is north of the port, untill you get way on down the lake, but with the wind and all, there is no tellin where it will be the next day.
