im in LA for work and will be here for a few weeks. im staying around denham springs now but will be moving around some. i was wanting to find some good legal spots where i could fish from shore. i tried looking online but didnt have much luck.

Take LA 434 south of Lacombe to the Lake. There's usually some decent wade-fishing for specks there during summer. Also, LA 1089 south of US 190 between Lacombe and Mandeville will take you to the Fontainebleau State Park where some of my buddies also catch specks wade-fishing. Be aware, though, there are some big crevalle jacks molesting the lake's mullet in those areas.
