i fished chicot lake friday eve. 8/8/08,caught some nice gills and chinks, caught them on a grass shrimp imitation.
it rained and the weather was nice for a change i fished tell dark.
Shooter, you're killin' me! How deep are those chinks? Still north end? Grass or timber? Live or dead? Bud Light or Jack Daniels? Church of preference?
Well, I may not change my libation, but I could change my religion...
Pete
Shooter, sounds like Pete's addiction to catching is starting to get the best of him. Someone better point him in the right direction. He's just about to give up his favorite adult beverage if it's necessary. We can't have that. Please someone help him. Take him in your boat if necessary. Why even hook'em and let him reel if you have to. We just cannot have him in this condition.
Ha, hang in there Pete, your turns a'comimg. lol

Sneaky gets a little depressed after a bad offshore trip. Usually it takes a popping bug and a least a dozen good takes, several adult beverages, and sometimes even a good cigar to snap him out of it. Ya'll do what you can with him before it gets really bad. It ain't pretty if it gets out of hand.
I really do appreciate y'all's concerns, but none of 'em seem beneficial to catching chinks during summer. Come on, Shooter, won't you hep me?
I fly fish, too - kinda excessively.
Pete

"If fishing is like religion, then fly fishing is high church."
Thanks for the help, Shooter, and tell Big Daddy not to worry - you could give me a road map and I still couldn't catch a chink in August!
Come to think of it, July either!
Long-neck Buds are okay, too.
Give 'em hell!
Pete
