Default Cross Lake Drifting

Thought I might put some pictures up of a recent catfishing trip to Cross Lake with my two girls and wife. We had a good two hours catching thirteen and losing a number of others. Nothing huge but some good pole benders for the girls. Hope no one minds that it is not crappie but things seem to be slow and I like to brag on my family.

The following two pictures are of my two daughters.

This is a bad picture but I like the silohuette of the bent pole. My oldest daughter is catching this fish while my youngest takes the picture. I think she wants to be a photographer as she took most of these.

This is my wife with a fish on.

The next two are of the sunset and shows the change in the color of the sky.

Can't wait to do my first Fall/Winter crappie fishing.

Hey SouBist!
Good stuff, and decent pics. However, I suggest to make the pics a bit better, strive the keep the horizon level. Makes for a much more normal view.

Hey Pete, maybe the lake is one of those hillside lakes. Or,.... maybe one shot is going up the lake and the other down the lake. Ha, Ha. Just kidding guys. SouthBistineau, any day on the water with the family is a super day. I sure missed my chance this weekend to be out with the wife. It was a coin toss and I lost. Also, a bent pole is always better than a straight pole, even if its old whiskers on the other end.

Nothing wrong with those pics, pics of family are always nice! Glad those girls caught some fish!

Hey daughter of south bistineau, GREAT pictures. Don't you worry about what ole sneakypete said, He's old, and doesn't remember what it was like to pick up a camera, for the first time, they only had black and white when he was your age. Congratulations for a great day on Cross Lake. Great pictures kid, You go girl.......

BamaFan, Bullfrog, Boatstall,

My ten year old daughter that took those pictures in a bobbing boat appreciates your comment. She will get better.

PawPaw,
I know you are just funnin.

SneakyPete,
I agree with you. She will get better and handles critiques pretty well.

It's always great to spend quality time with the family. I enjoy catching just about any fish that can pull back when I am on the water.

I know all of you had a ball with the cats!!! Did you catch them on nightcrawlers or cut bait????
