Default Darbonne Thursday

Started this morning above the Hwy 33 bridge. They were burning it up for about 20 min. Out of about 20 fish only ended up with 8 keepers. Caught all on tri-color tube Chart/blk/red with pink head. After they stopped biting and I got tired of not catching I went south of the bridge and met a friend of mine who lives on the lake. Got to catching a few down there. Fished until about 12:15 then went down and talked to Greenshiner for a while. Guess I really need to take a bigger ice chest with me and mine just won't hold too many fish. This is what I ended up with.....

Can't wait to see everyone tomorrow. Dave I got you a pack of those jigs I caught them on. I put them in a larger ice chest when I got home so I could count them and ice them down. Had 30 but that was all the ice chest would hold.

I went this afternoon. I got there later than expected around 2:30 and fished til 4:30. At 4 the wind layed down and they turned on for about 20 minutes. I kept 10 that were over a pound and threw back around 20 more that I would normally keep if the freezer wasnt full!
