Question Color dye for minnows and live bait?

Anyone dye their minnows? I just bought red, chartreuse, and blue dye on clearance at wal-mart. Just wondering if anyone has tried it and does it work?

Never heard of minnow dye. Maybe the reason it was on clearance sale

I think they may be referring to the substance that gives the baitshop's water the blue and green coloring. I think it's a type of conditioner/disinfectant.

There is a product called Fire Dye which will dye live minnows. It's normally $10. If it's on clearance I may need to go find some as I am too cheap to pay $10 but if it's $5 or so I will try it

A walmart near my hometown shows 4 in stock at $1 ea and another store near by has 10 for $3.50. Looks like it's road trip time!

Best time to use it when fishing with your partner and they don;t know you are using it. When you start putting fish in the boat more than your partner make them wander what they are doing different.

I could have purchased it at my Walmart for .50 a bottle. I still passed on it.
