Default KCA crappie tournaments?

We're trying to determine if there is any interest in a crappie fishing tournament series here in western PA. Please indicate if this is something that might interest you. Feel free to leave comments about this on this post.

I picked depend on lake location. For the reason I'm thinking of getting a 40 or 50 hp E-tec for my pontoon. And most lakes around here have hp limits. Let me ask, are you talking about a one shot deal or like several a summer?

By the way, is there anyone out there that has or knows of anyone that has one of these motors.

Doski, There would be several from spring to fall with a championship somewhere at the end.

I can't help you with the E tec.

I am interested in tournament fishing. I would have to purchase a kicker to hit some of the HP regulated lakes unless Garhead gets a boat.."hint hint"

I guess I have mixed feelings about the crappie tournaments. On one hand I think they might be fun, but on the other hand I feel that it wouldn't be fair to all the other fishermen if I were to enter.

Chaunc,
We'd like to do both. Be there to check everyone in then fish. Come in early to do the weigh in.

Well I did it again Chaunc. Fishing a crappie tournament ay Pymy and look what I caught.

24", nice fish. I had to show you this Chaunc, knew you'd like it.

Nice eye. How'd you guys do in the tourney? Can you get some kind of head count so i can see how much fish to bring. I've been throwing more back than i've been keeping. Might have to keep a limit one day next week to cover the group.
