I would love to get in it and meet all the people in the club, but is it going to be a closed club event or would any body be able to enter? I'm not a club member yet. Is it going to be a single person entry? If it is I'd would be handicapped right of the bat. I'm new to crappie fishing and wouldn't know where to start to fish for them and what to use and what about all the other rookies also. This is only my 2cents. I asked chaunc all sorts of questions already on what to use and where to go and he's probably tired of me asking all types questions. So, It's all up to you guys, but I'll probably come down to fish it any ways, just to meet some of you guys in the club. Thanks for your time, Big Bob from NY.

I'm hoping it's a club tourney. It's going to be a low money, big fun, bragging rights tourney. When you open it up and have big money involved, SOME people will do strange things to win the money. Let's keep it fun. We do have some very good tourney guys in our group that have fished some big money tourneys but chances are that we'll be fishing more for fun than money. We may fish hard but we wont be able to fish long as someone has to run the thing.:D Let's just have a good time.

Has, a date been decided on for the tourney. the 23rd was mentioned?

That was for a fish-together but no one seems interested.

I have work that weekend the 23, any other weekend I would be up for a fish together. Oh yeah fist weekend in Sept. I take my daughter back to college.

The 23rd looks good (sorry Doski) Why don't we plan for that date? I spoke with Mike and he can attend. Who else is in? I will make a formal post sometime today.

No problem, you can never find a weekend that's good for everyone. I'm just glad that there is an Aug fish to-gether. I'll keep America working that weekend and you guys go and slam some slabs.

Hi Guys, I think the 23rd is good for me too! I have only fished 2 times this year, conditions with parents and inlaws have kept us from going. Also interested in the tourny too! Zimmy
