Thread: KCA crappie tournaments?

I was practicing for the tournament today and ran onto this gal.

What lake holds them there RED TAILED crappies? :D Nice fish Gary. AND darn nice hat too.

Very nice, a fish like that might win you a prize at the next fish together. How big? Did you weigh her?

Those redtails are only found in one place that I know of and that is just off the point at Lost Lake.

I don't have an accurate scale, so it wasn't weighed. It measured just over 16". I caught a few other nice ones, too. BTW, over half of them were still carrying eggs.

count me in as well. Do you want to do this as two man teams or singles? Chaunc if you are fishing this, then I think we need some kind of handicap. I have the perfect solution, we will tie both ur hands behind ur back and put you in a blind fold and then turn you loose to compete. Even with all of that I don't think it would be very fair.:D
We need to pick an August date for the get together and we can discuss it then.

Guys, I'm in for the tournaments just as long as it doesn't get taken too seriously. Love to fish and have fun doing it but have seen it turn ugly when prize money gets right . A number of years with USA showed me the bad side over a the bucks . Sorry about the pics of Erie , Chauncy. I've tried and tried even with photobucket and couldn't get them to upload . I'll bring them on hard copy to the next get together including some of Bob and the crew that came with him .
