Default Erie perch

Did not here from anyone on the perch trip to erie ,but 4 of us wen t up for the Sunday afternoon trip on the Edward John. The first couple hours were very slow with only limited sucess. Then capt. John made one move and we hit a good hole with everyone on board catching their limit or very close to the limit.

Enjoyed the first of several meals tonight. If anyone from KCA wants to go up any friday thru mon. send an e-mail and I would be glad to go again,if time permits.

Hello, I have not been fishing alot either. I have been working. I took the boat out twice once to take someone for a ride on the river and once because my friend bought a boat and I went to help him his first time out. I did put a line in the water, but not for very long.

My buddies have been doing really well on Erie walleyes/perch. We're still catching crappies at Shenango, but the size has gone down the last month or so.

Bill, what launch did you go from? We're going out of Conny saturday but i'm thinking of Walnut sunday.
Jim, come on up to erie and do some perchin. Just pick your days with smaller waves. 1 to 3 or 2ft or less is okay for my boat.

Fished erie all weekend. Saturday, the waves were bad until 12:00 then they died down to 1ft. We fished out of walnut and got 2 eyes and 2 whitebass. The fish were holding really close to the bottom in 68ft. Tough getting them. Sunday we fished in the rain out of conneaut. Waves were 2ft and less. We got 8 walleyes, 8 wb, 1 perch, and over 10 sheepheads. Kept busy all morning. Had a few doubles and 1 triple. Didn't fish for perch but talked to a couple boats that did. They said they did good in the second 48, about 4 miles out. I'd like to get out sometime this week and do some perchin. Anybody want to go?
