July fish-together
If we haven't already picked a lake to fish, i have an idea. How about the club going out on a perch charter from Erie, Pa ? I was checking out the fisherie site and seen they have a boat going out daily. From 7am to 2pm for $28 each. They provide the bait. If anyone is interested, post here and we can pick the best day for the majority that can make it. I know everyone would have a good time and Mike can even record the trip.:D

Hi Chaunc, Jodi and I have went on the charters two years in a row . There is 2 boats and they go out of the docks right by the Hamond Hospital ,nice place to park and have a good time I think that latter in the Month would be better, a reports say the perch are still scatter and not schooled up yet. We can wait until later in the month if thats what everyone wants. I just want to get the group together up there. That would be a lot cheaper than everyone taking there boat up. Of course if thats what everyone wants to do, i'll take mine.

Can we get an idea how how many may be interested in going on this charter? How many can fit on the boat? When would be a good time for everyone? Who can make the arrangments?

July fish together
Mike and friends I would love that trip if it happens on the 21,or 22 of july or the first weekend in august. I have also been on the Edward john and it is a quality trip. I believe the boat can hold a little over 40 people, butfor some weekends you must book early since people will book spaces early.

Hi Chaunc, I just read the fishing reports for Eire. And it sounds like the perch are really biting now. The Victory and the Edward John are both limiting out. I have fished on the Victory three years in a row and had a great time. How is the fishing at Shenango ? Buddy of mine was there Friday night , done good down by the RR bridge crappie, white bass, walleye.thinking on hitting it this week too! Have your Mini spoons been working on them? Zimmy
