Hi there. Been watching this sight regularly for about a year (when my crappie addiction really started) and finally registered! Where did you find them??? I was hitting them hard down there about 2 weeks ago way back muddy creek in about 4-5 fow in the weeds. seemed like they disappeard from there early last week and I have been hitting shenango since (thursday, saturday, and monday) with pretty good success (celery farm mostly). I live in Grove City, and Moraine is really my first choice to fish. Just seems like the fish are way more consistent and accessible at Shenango.

where would you recommend fishing at Moraine??? does anyone have any info about where the slabs might be??

Welcome to the site MICK FISH. Wanted to let you and Debo3 know I was fishing the arms by the 528 bridge. I caught crappie in all 3 arms. Most of them in the prop arm 7-9 fow on structure.

Thanks Mike. I will try to make to the fish together Sunday. Hit Shenango again this afternoon. Should have started in the Celery Farm, but spent a few hours scouting only picking up one keeper. Ended up fishing the farm and managed 8 nice ones until my drift died with the wind.
I want to make it down to Moraine now and try things out in a little deeper waters.

The "little one" in the pic is just about 10", they were both released to grow even bigger.

Had a first tonight. Throwing bomber long a's for stripers and caught a 11'' crappie! Thats never happened to me before!

Are you fisihng the north end for the stripers?
