Thread: KCA get together March 25, 06

Hi everybody,
Bob and I would like to have a get together on Saturday March 25 at Shenango lake. Nothing formal, just do some fishing in the morning and get together in the afternoon. The fish together worked well so we'd like to keep that format. We could plan on meeting at 2:00.

We ask that you respond here with a post if you're interested in attending. All are welcome, member or not. We will plan this get together by the responces we see here. If no one responds we won't have it.

Like I said it's just a get together to do some fishing and catch up with everyone to see how you're all doing. Please respond as soon as you can.

It was cold and snowy and the fishin was slow. At the meeting site Zimmy got things heated up

Chaunc got the dogs goin

The group got together and enjoyed each others company and discussed plans for the club tourneys

And last but not least, Deep Vee with the $10,000 winning fish

We'd like to thank everyone who braved the weather and attended the meeting. Next meeting is on April 22 at Yellow Creek lake. Hope to see you there.

Yes I'd also like to thank everyone that showed up too. Wasn't the best weather but any day fishing is a good day.

Thanks for bringing the food also. It really hit the spot. I'm looking forward to our next get together.

Wow! After seeing those crappie that deep-v is holding up I'm really sorry I didn't make the fish together. I've heard that Shenango has some big crappie, but I never imagined there were monsters like that in there. Was he able to land those himself or did he have help? :D

Nope, didn't need any help. Was able to land those bad boys all by myself.

BTW, they were released back into the lake so that someone else may someday enjoy the fight that they gave me.

June is a good month for LA. We could have the fish-together on June 24th or 25th.

You are more than welcome to ride with me if you'd like.

The problem I have is that I will be working on saturdays during the months of April and May, so Sunday fish-togethers would work better for me during those two months.

Not very much. Just let us know what time to meet, what ramp to launch from, and give us a little help finding fish. We'll need somewhere to hold the meeting too. We can all bring a dish or something to snack on, like hotdogs, sausage, venison bologna, and chips and stuff. If they have a grill there and you'd rather have charcoal flavor, we could bring some with us, otherwise i have the portable propane grill. If anyone else would like to help Zeke put this together, just chime in. Please:D
