The wife and I won't be at the meeting. Also, we won't be rejoining next year. It has nothing to do with the club. Good luck in 2006. Keith

What went down at the meeting? With all the views I hope we had some new faces.
S10 - you're in my prayers bud. Hopefully things will turn around for you down the road and you can "hook-up" with the club again. Glad I had the chance to meet you face to face - we have KCA to thank for that.

Would like to know why no one has posted all the minutes, like I did, when chairing the meetings. Am still a paid member thru the end of December, and would like to know what all was discussed, and if elections were held, who got elected.

Mike and I were the only two to show up!
Anyone interested in working with Mike and I on the tournaments or the club post here.
Not much else to post.

Hello Bob, When you were starting the club I knew you were up against a monumental task. I've been involved in several established archery clubs and trying to get help and increase membership has always been a struggle. Seems PA folks are an even tougher crowd to organize than folks from other states, they never seem to be joiners. I think you may be on the right track, promoting tournments or get togethers, rather than club meetings or druming up members. Once you get a good following at your tournments or get togethers, the membership and club participation would be a natural evolution. If I lived out your way where there was some good crappie fishing, I'd be in there with you. I'm in the far northeast of PA, and actually fish NY state more so than PA and have started to concentrate more on trout and salmon in the Finger Lakes and Ontario. Good Luck to you and Keystone Crappie, and keep on track with the get togethers and tournments.
Bob,
I am still interested in club. I would be willing to help if I can. I'm not sure about the tournaments because I have never participated in one. Did you make it to fish today? You said in another post that you were planning on fishing and I was wondering how you did.
Zeke, I did go sunday morning. My son and I and my father all went and we had a great time. We caught a ton of fish. The biggest was 14". I forgot my camera so I did get any pictures. I wish I would have though. At around 10:30 we seen a buck walking on the hillside and then he came down to the lake and swam across the lake. It would have made for a great picture.Originally Posted by Zeke
