Thread: KCA October 2005 meeting

Hello everyone,
Our next meeting will be held on Sunday October 9th at lake Arthur. Let's fish early and meet under the 528 bridge at 1:00. We're hoping for a good turn out.

If anyone has any pictures they would like to have added to our picture page bring them along. If I know that someone is bringing pictures I'll bring a scanner along and scan them there. I wouldn't have to take the pictures with me.

Also any crappie fishing tips would be appreciated. I'd like to add some to that page.

Hope to see some responces to this post. Hopefully with suggestions on topics to discuss. Electing officers, getting our own message board, etc.

Mike, i was wondering if we have the by-laws in place yet? Would be nice to have all the positions filled by November. That way we can start the new year off right. Lets get this show started. Anyone want to make some nominations? President, VP, recording secretary, and treasurer. And will these positions be permanent or three years? I dont know much about the political side of this but i'm willing to learn. Also will we have separate officers for the East and West branches? I'd like to read some suggestions and ideas here.

These are questions we'd like to discuss at this meeting. You bring up some good ones Chaunc.

The cold weather will be here soon, lets meet while we can. I hope that everyone will please try to make this meeting. I know it's on a Sunday which gives the hunters their Saturday to hunt. Besides that, the Steelers don't play until Monday the 10th, LOL.

Maybe we could have the meeting a little later if it works out better for some people. I hope I get some feedback on this. We need to get members to these meetings so that we can get some issues settled. If anyone has any suggestions please post them or pm me or Bob.

Remember our next meeting is this Sunday at Lake Arthur. If a later time than 1:00 works we can adjust it. Please post and let me know.

I will be there, please let me know if you will be too. We'd like to get some input on issues, officers, tournaments for next year, etc. Don't know if we'll be having any more meetings this year. It's going to get colder and everyone will be busier.

Hello, we had our meeting yesterday and decided that we will be voting for officers at our next meeting. Sunday November 6th.

Motions were made to make Chaunc the president, Jim vice president and Bob and myself treasurers.

Hopefully we'll have a good turn out for our next meeting. The vote will take place with attending members.

We would also like to decide on tenative dates for our tournaments next year. All input is welcome.
