Default Nolin near Wax - Water Level

I'm going down to try for some crappie and catfish on Friday evening and Saturday. I see they are calling for storms on Friday. So, I was wondering if anybody has been down there recently and knows how the water level is in the wax area. And, also wondering with the weather not being great if I should fish deeper for the crappie using bright bait?
    Thanks for any info.

It has come up a lot in the last few days and I had heard it was very muddy coming in the river. Good luck.

Thanks Opie, any suggestions what to try and go after. I went down there last year on Good Friday and the weather was bad then too. Flooded, muddy and really cold. I see they are calling for rain on Friday and nice on Saturday. Anybody think I should try for catfish and go deep on Friday???
