Default Ky Lake Water Level Question

Just looking for some input...I'll be visiting my Dad this weekend on Jonathon Creek and I have a question about water levels and how they affect crappie. I know from reading these forums and past experience that falling water levels will send the fish deep in a hurry. My question is, how much does the water have to drop before the fish head deep? Is a couple of inches enough or would you expect them to stay shallow until the lake drops more?

The bad thing is, after this killer front, they may not be shallow in the first place this week!

    Thanks for any input!

Man it really varies...at times they pull out quick with only a small drop in water, but the fish are wanting to move in shallow pretty bad and I don't think they are going to go very deep.....they may just pull up tighter to the brush rather than move out if it drops a little.
