Thread: Weather not looking so good saturday for get together!

Weather looks like it's going to be bad saturday. 70% chance of thunderstorms and rain all day, 15mph winds. Any thoughts, maybe come up with another day?

Seeing as how this is as much a chance to get to meet/greet other members, as it is a chance to get out and fish ... inclement weather isn't the best scenario. I'm going to watch the weather, another day or so .. and decide whether or not I'm going to make the 2hr drive.

If I cancel my plans to attend, that in no way means the rest of you can't go on and meet up. But, if the general concensus is that the weather is going to be too bad to bother with having it on Sat March 28th .... then what's everyone's opinion about rescheduling to April 18th ??

I know that's opening day of Spring Turkey Season, and that might not be an open date for everyone ... but, it's just a suggestion (and my only shot at it, if we have to reschedule )

are projecting a strong potential for severe weather for south central Kentucky Saturday. I opt to reschedule, and the April 18th date proposed by CP is fine with me. :D

Guess i'm gonna have to wait to fish with you guys then. I had planned to head over to Ky lake after spending the day at green. Was hopeing to make an early trip this year. I plan on coming to ky lake in early may to do some gill and redear fishing. Catch you guys some other time.

but, I won't be making this get together. The weather is going to be just too iffy, to suit me, to make the trip. Four hours round trip, just to get to fish for 4-6hrs, in the rain (& possible T-storms), just isn't my idea of a pleasant trip.

I won't "officially" cancel this get together ... so if other members still plan on making the trip, I suggest you post your confirmation. In the mean time, I will post a reschedule date thread, with April 18th as the new date.
