Thread: 2nd Get Together ....

Let's go ahead and set up our second get together.

Would you prefer to vote on lake/date ... or would you like for me to just pick the lake/date ??

If I were so inclined ... I'd pick Taylorsville Lake ... May 2nd .. no cookout ... Settler's Trace Ramp

I would do so for the following reasons :

April is the prime time for most of our waters, and trips are probably already planned. (mine are )
Taylorsville has a bad habit of flooding during April, and on previous trips during May, I have found the Crappie to be still spawning.
No cookout - because there aren't any suitable facilities for it.
Settler's Trace Ramp - good ramp, plenty of parking, minnows/food/gas available at gas station (intersection of highway & ramp road), and it's close to the larger creeks.

sounds good to me. can't always get off on a Sat but that's close enough to get to after work.

Count me in. I cant make the first one!

Sounds good to me if I'm not working. Things aren't looking good for making this get together so hopefully the second one will work out better for me. Thanks for all your work on getting these together CP!

Just one thing...did you mean Saturday, May 2? There is a high likelihood that we can make it that weekend.

We never got the "last" get together, together We, well ... I cancelled out, due to the threat of severe storms. If you want to still try Green River Lake ... check the other sticky post ... we're going to try and re-schedule for April 18th at Green River Lake.
This thread is for the May 2nd get together on Taylorsville Lake. Heck, make'em both if you can

May 2nd at T-ville sounds good. I have to work the 18th weekend so won't be able to make that one.
