Is there one time of the year that is better for this method? Would it work well in the fall?

I was one of the guys in that photo. Had a great time and learned a lot from mrdux about cranking. Love those Picos. Now in stock at Ky Lake Outdoors.

Good looking mess of fish. Makes me want to get back out cranking. Soon as this heat wave breaks, may have to go. Y'all post a lot of good comments about those picos. My brother in law got some the other day. Gonna try em out next time I fish with him.
