    I thought there were pics on this thread my bad crappiepappy no I thought I was doing something wrong. Can't wait for this weather to break so me and the boss can wet a line.

    No problem, buddy .... I'm just here to help, if needed. Waiting on some stable weather, myself, so I can get my boat ready to go for the Spring season.

    I live 10min from linville. I havent fished it much for crappie, but I know the crappie are there. Last fall my son and I night fished caught 13 in bout 2hrs 9-11in range . So I am planning on going one day this week . I am hoping to load the boat but will be happy if I catch a few.

    Hello spoondog make sure you save some for us fair weather fishermen. That cool weather is hard on these old bones, but good luck to ya and let us know how you do.

    went down to Linville yesterday evening no luck only caught two in about four hours of fishing. lake had risen probably 3 feet and water temp was down to 49.very windy
