Anyone attending may want to wear some Crappie.com clothing so they can be recognized by other members, advertise the site to those attending, and maybe even get the attention of the people putting on the event ... so they understand that we Crappie anglers are "in the house" and need to be accommodated with more offerings.
I plan on wearing my Crappie.com tourney shirt :

enjoyed talking with you at the show. on the way home my old brain finally found the page your name is stored on in the memory bank. see you in April Rodney.
also met jman5626, seems like a real nice young man. He's looking forward to being at his first Spring Fling this year.
Walked around the show for a while and those that said it was mostly for Bassers they were right, it looked like crank bait heaven but I will say that considered it was a good show.
smiles are contagious, spread them around

I thoroughly enjoyed my first swap meet. Got rid of some gear I don’t use and picked up a lot of stuff I’ve been wanting. I think my best deal was trading a hard plastic rod storage box for 4 micro spinning reels.
Got to meet wannabe fisherman. Very nice guy.
Also met the guys from slabinator! Great baits.
I actually had about 3 hours to kill because my girlfriend wasn’t ready to leave yet, so I went back into the show, picked up a cheap rod, and went to the nearest lake I could find( lake Reba), and put on one of the slabinators I got. Within the first 5 minutes I caught a fish. Switched to another color of slabinator, caught another fish! That was the only thing they were biting on.
All in all it was a great time

Not a bad show, all in all. Plenty of cranks to look over, lots of reels of all descriptions, and Slabanator Jigs & Grousefly's creations from P&S Custom Tackle were well represented.
Sorry I missed you guys, but I did scan the crowd now & then to see if I could spot anyone wearing a Crappie.com shirt. Did meet a member, but cannot for the life of me remember his screen name. Sorry about that, brother ... but, I've never been good at remembering names (just faces).
The "gang" & I picked up a few items, mostly from the Slabanator table ... but, I did find one vendor with a box full of Sparkle Tail cranks @ $2/ea. and bought a few. Been looking for some, off and on, for some time.
Probably would have stayed longer (& likely bought more) if they had door prize drawings, like they did last year. Instead, this year's entry ticket had coupons for free McD's fries (w/purchase) & Dick's Sporting Goods ($10 off $50 purchase).
