Default Rigging the New Feeshin' Mochine

Actually made some progress last night as I got the TM plate installed, and the Terrova on, wired and tested. Also pulled the front power and HDI from the old boat and installed in the Ranger. Also drilled several holes, and installed the floor bases for the Spyderlok's up front.
Have my front graph bracket lined out of how I want to mount it, be tapping holes in the bracket tonight. Also, hope to be pulling some Ethernet and NMEA cables from the old boat, and begin fishing those through.
    Work in progress....

I got all the Ethernet, NMEA, transducers, power, and the point 1 removed from my Nitro late yesterday afternoon. Took just a little bit to get figured out how to get everything pulled through, but a fish tape and a little vaseline made quick work of it.
New Dek-it Dash Mount came in yesterday for the console. Console unit is completely installed, and trimmed out and zip tied underneath. Front unit is powered and both units working.
Still have to drill out holes for the front mount bracket and complete the install. And drill the hole for the Point-1 antenna, and complete the install. Then just finish the mount for both transducers.

Thought I did pretty good for a one man show. Watch out feeshes, I'm coming after ya on Sunday!!

    Brian,

I would recommend putting the point1 down with 2 sided tape for the first couple trips out at least to make sure your not getting any interference from anything before drilling the holes and mounting.
I've actually had my point1 since last spring and still have not drilled it down and it is still holding fine in the spot I settled on with the 2 sided tape.
Thanks bandchaser thanked you for this post

Get some Velcro. I found some, by accident, at a local hardware store that is all weather. My 2 cents.
