I’m a lake junkie but never had much luck fishing. I’ve decided to get into crappie fishing and even though I’ve had little success, so far I’ve enjoyed it. Wondering if any of you guys ever fish Byrd Bay, and if it’s a producer year around or certain times more than others. It’s the closest for me when I don’t have a whole day, but wondering if I’m better off just heading up to Blood River instead.

For all year, blood river area is going to be a more consistent producer. There are times when the fish get into Byrd. But on average you will be able to find them in Blood all year round.
