    Default Barkley 7/24/17

Didn't make it out last week, probably for the best, it was awfully hot. Didn't feel that bad to me today, I spent alot of time riding and looking though. Fish were perky on mid depth ledges early with the clouds and moved deeper as the sun broke through. Action was steady all day if you were where the fish were but there continues to be huge stretches of the lake that are like a ghost town. Real quality fish today, only a couple under 11". Although I would be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to fall, summer action has been great so far.

A fine mess of fish there! The heat is a bit more bearable when the fish are biting.

No I was vertical jigging 14-16fow during cloud cover and 17-20fow once the sun came out.
