I called a guide that had advertised as a crappie guide ...he tried to get me to go striper fishing instead. lol I really would like to learn how to fish crappie on Cumberland...so if you want to make a few bucks let me know. If its worth learning ...maybe its just not a good crappie fishery.

I know sever all guides but none that I would call "Crappie guides"
Cumberland is tough fishing for crappie
I'm a retired guide and have fished exclusively for crappie for the past couple years and have caught lots of crappie on Cumberland but if I were still guiding I doubt I'd take a crappie trip.
You can catch a hundred today and nothing tomorrow
Caught 20 today and expect to do well tomorrow, after that who knows.
If the water rises another ft I'm lost

    No, back in feeder creeks
They moved today, only found 5
Water has rose another ft, but the temp was the big surprise, up 12 degrees since Sunday
    57 degrees today

I have fished cumberland for a few years now. I am still a rookie at but have a few good days in my time mostly at night over brush in about 30ft of water mostly on minnows. Havent tried jigging but plan to in a few weeks.
