    Default Lake Chickamauga Crappie

Lake Chickamauga crappie fishing is at its best. Had 45 keepers last Friday fishing docks. We have some of the best dock fishing around. This fall will be great lots of fish and lots of big crappie being caught.

So THAT'S where all the Watts Bar Crappie went to, thru the dam turbines and downstream to the Chickamauga docks :D
OK .... fess up -- what are you guys feeding them, down there around your docks, that makes them Crappie take the one way roadtrip

Seriously though, Soddy .... would you mind giving us some more details about your current success ? You don't have to pinpoint specific docks or areas ... but, water depth under the docks, baits used, colors that produce, presence of brush under the docks (or not), presence of Shad around the docks (or not), size of Shad (if present), water temps, & water clarity info would be much appreciated.
I'm asking, because I'm planning on heading down to Watts Bar at the end of next month, and it's always good to know how the progression of the Fall Feeding Frenzy is going. It may even come down to me adding Chickamauga to my list of lakes to travel to, or even as a backup location ... should Watts Bar be a bit on the stingy side, if you catch my drift

    ... cp

Most of the docks had 8 to 12 foot of water under them, water temp 74.9. I only use a yellow and white tube when i fish docks the two guys with me was using Bobby Garland in the baby bass color.
