Default Barren River Nov 20th

Fished 4 hrs. this morning. Caught 2 on bluffs about 5 ft. deep. Fished in peters creek and caught 8 more keepers and about 12 throw backs. All of these fish were caught 3 ft. deep on brushpiles using minnows. I threw a jid several times with no success. Water temp was 53 degrees and water was very dingy.

Default Barren River report

Just returned from Barren and had a good trip. Not as good as trips in the past because they were pulling the lake pretty hard.We had 153 crappie in three days. All caught in 16 to 23 fow on minnows. Had a lot of good sized crappie and a lot of 10 inchers.Just can't get over how fat these fish are compared to other lakes like Green River for instance.Caught most of them on drop offs in main chanel of river.

Sounds like a good trip, I'm hoping to start getting the boat wet again this Friday. I'll be standing in line at the boat ramp, not the shopping mall. lol!
