Default While lakes are being drawn down

Will the crappie go toward the dam or will they go up in the creeks or coves? I fish mostly Rough river and Nolin lake. I'm not very good at fishing yet.

While the lake is being lowering toward winter pool, the fish will pulled back on the first breakline contour and as the lake is lowering more so they will mostly fall back toward the channel. If the channel is not deep enough they will travel to find the deeper water, for winter time.
